Badlands (well, some of it) cycle 2024

We only cycled a part of the Badlands route, and my respect for those who get to finish it has no limit. It's equally brutal and breathtaking, you can't understand the extent of its wildness unless you get there, and none of the pictures we took managed to capture its beauty and vastness. I feel privileged to have seen a part of it, but no way I'll ever race it!!!

Cairngorms midsummer mini adventure

There is nothing better than 3 days in the wilderness to restore energies and forget about your daily life. It was like destiny wanted us there. What are the odds of finding space in the Aviemore youth hostel for 3 nights, and bike space on both outbound and inbound train, and kind of good weather too??

The Pictish Trail cycle

I don't know what possessed me this time, but I was actually the one suggesting we should cycle the Pictish Trail

https://bikepacking.com/routes/the-pictish-trail/

It was not easy (mostly due to the wintery weather conditions despite being June), but it was definitely more cyclable than most of the gravel routes we have done, and enjoyable too (despite the headwind...). After 7 days and ½ of cycling we are now back home completely destroyed but with a full lot of new memories we will treasure for a long while.

Hello Yew Cycle – May 24

We still had a few days of holidays left and while on the bus back from Inverness we planned this route. It was a bit like revisiting all those places that we have cycled trough over time, it was all a bit improvised but it worked out great (the perfect weather played a big part!)

Cape Wrath Trail (Part 3)

Back to the West Coast! After the blast of last year hiking along this route, and the endless winter, we were really exited at the prospect to go back to where we left last year: Ullapool!

Lanzarote 2024

Back to Lanzarote!!! Gosh we were longing for the warm sun all winter and spent months crossing the days left to see it again. Surgery at the heel in January meant low key mini adventures but it was still extremely pleasant to be on the move in dry and sunny places.
